See you on GDNMUN 2018,
My name is Igor Sztormowski, I currently reside in Gdańsk and I'm a student in III High School, also known as ,,Topolówka”. I have this utmost pleasure to serve as your Head of Finance at this year’s GDNMUN. To begin with, my interests mainly revolve around languages, politics and the sciences. Besides these ‘serious’ interests, I am very fond of fashion and sport. In my lifetime, I attended four MUN conferences which I guess has taught me how a solid MUN conference should look like. We are working together on making your experience as pleasant and convenient as possible, as it is our top priority. Most importantly, MUNs are also great opportunities to spend unforgettable time with interesting people. I am looking forward to meeting you all and hopefully I will be able to get to know each and every one of you.
See you all in November!
Head of Finance

Honorable future delegates!
My name is Katarina Towiańska and I’m an IB student at the III High School in Gdańsk. It is a great pleasure to be the Head of Events during the GDNMUN which is to be held during the quickly approaching November of 2018. MUN is a great opportunity that allows one to step out of their comfort zone while having to confront people during discussions which resolve in out-of-the-box solutions to global issues. For me it was the chance to grow and develop as a person like nothing else. That’s why I’d like to invite each and every person reading this to seize the opportunity and join this year’s edition to make unforgettable memories and gain universal experience!
Hello everyone, my name is Mateusz and I’m the IT specialist of the GDNMUN 2018 conference.
Some may think that I’m good with computers, well, I would say that I’m just better at googling than the rest of the people. My tasks include making some cool graphics that you can see here, helping my team with any technical advice if one is needed and all of this to make your experience with GDNMUN 2018 as pleasant as possible. Meeting new people and getting to know their point of view is my favourite thing about MUNs. I love the idea of spreading the awareness about global issues and getting to know many people at the same time. I mean, what else can you desire? I think that for now that’s all you need to know about me, so have a great time waiting for November and stay tuned for any further news!
My name is Nina Szulta, and I have the pleasure to be the Venue Director of the forthcoming GDNMUN 2018 conference.
MUN is a great opportunity to develop deeper understanding of the current world issues and face them as a team. What I consider the most riveting about it, is the flexibility required when being a delegate. Stepping out of one’s comfort zone in order to represent a country allows to foster diplomacy, negotiating and public speaking skills.
I believe that this year’s conference will be full of fruitful debates which will yield the solutions to issues of geopolitical significance.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask me. I am looking forward to meeting you all in November.
My name is Filip Kozak and it is my utmost pleasure to take up the role of a Chair Coordinator during Gdańsk Model United Nations 2018. I live in Gdańsk and I am a student in III High School, just like the majority of the Secretariat. To this day, I’ve attended four MUN conferences and was awarded an honorable mention on three of them. I am mainly interested in history of the 20th century, international politics and relations. This is exactly why I would love to study international relations or international law in the future. During the upcoming conference I am responsible for building a team of experienced people, supervising their work and keeping a lookout on the deadlines. Moreover, I am also going to be a Deputy Chair in the Security Council. This leads me to one of my favourite parts of every MUN conference. Namely, they give you the opportunity to meet new, interesting people. That being said, I am looking forward to meeting you all at GDNMUN 2018.
Honourable Future Delegates
My name is Zuzanna Sarlej, and I have the pleasure to be the Head of Logistics during this year’s GDNMUN conference. Having been a member of last year’s Secretariat, I wish to do everything in my power in order to improve this year’s edititon. What I appreciate about MUNs most, is how they promote the need of communication between all the nations and advocate global awareness of contemporary issues. To my mind, this is the exact attitude that we, global citizens, should have when addressing problems of modern world. Should you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me.
See you all in Gdańsk this November!
